Group Members

Reed Vennel

Reed Vennel is a full time undergraduate student of biomedical engineering at Drexel University.  He is from Anaheim Hills, California but currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where Drexel is located.  He is pursuing a BS and MS in biomedical engineering with a minor in Mandarin Chinese.  He looks forward to this project as a snapshot of what a career in the biomedical industry might be like.  He hopes to use this education to pursue a career in medicine, though he has not decided whether it will be in R&D or medical practice.

Jennifer Dennison

Jennifer Dennison is a full time undergraduate student at Drexel University. She is from Bel Air, Maryland. She is pursuing a BS in biomedical engineering. After she graduates, Jennifer hopes to work for the army in a R&D type job.

Bairavi Venkatesh

Bairavi Venkatesh is a full time undergraduate student at Drexel University pursuing a BS/MS in Biomedical Engineering. She is from Edison, New Jersey but presently resides in Philadelphia.  Bairavi has successfully completed two Engineering Design Labs and is excited to be part of the Freshman Design Project. In the future, she hopes to work in an R&D position for a company specialized in Neuroengineering.

Advisor

Joseph J Sarver , Ph.D.

Dr. Sarver is an Associate Teaching Professor within the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University.  His research interests include biomechanics, muscle adaptation, tendon injury, non-invasive imaging, and computational modeling.
